The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a central government initiative designed to provide financial support of ₹6,000 per year directly into the bank accounts of all landholding farmer families across India.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility is determined primarily by land ownership. However, several exclusions are strictly enforced by the government.
Who is Eligible
- Small and marginal farmer families with cultivable landholdings.
- Farmers having land record registry in their name (and matching state databases).
Major Exclusions
- •Institutional landholders and corporate entities.
- •Families where one or more members pay Income Tax.
- •Current/former government employees, ministers, or pensioners receiving ₹10,000+ monthly.

To enable Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Account must be linked to your Aadhaar card.
e-KYC Status Verification
Must complete active OTP-based or biometric verification via the portal.
